Yep, Ketchup is still alive.

I finally Sold Ketchup this week. It was bitter sweet. Just a little of what has gone on for the last several months. I purchased at 2012 Hyundai Genesis 3.8 Coupe Grand Touring back in November. Well, the plan was to only replace the ugly stock grill. Well you know how we do....and several months later....I have out done myself with moddin. I will keep her N/A, but she is definitely a fun car. It was hard to part with the X, but I have been through to much with it. Those that have been been close to me know what I have been through.

I thank those that have helped me through my journey. Its been a rough road. I have learned so much and gained a ton of technical and mechanical knowledge I never would have experienced. I have meet good people and friends that have helped me out in my time of need. Attended meets and met awesome people and been part of a community that is indescribable. And most important, had a change to be and admin of the greatest enthusiast forum on the planet. So although there has been some disappointments, there has been so many blessings.

I do not have the time any more to visit the site like I used to. I am so busy with work and am now back in school finishing my BA degree in Healthcare Administration. I log on from time to time. The calendar was great this year. I have a set of CNT long tub headers with replacement pipes to delete the cats coming next week and a set of black housing headlights with Audi style DTRL coming too. Other mods I have done are AEM CAI, recessed mesh grill, upgraded thermostat, added stock spoiler, black plasti-dip rims, EIBACH drop coils, full Magnaflow cat-back exhaust.

:eviltongue: I wanted somethin different. Been running red. Before that silver. Before that green. They had a white one. I hate white and it was base model. This was fully loaded. So I stuck with this. I like it is all that maters sucka! :eviltongue:

Yea, I know. But in 09 I had surgery on my left ankle to repair a torn tendon and ligaments. I have had issues and pain since. The truck aggravated it with the constant shifting. So auto with paddles is ok with me. Shut off the traction control slap it into shift mode and she is a ton of fun :)

This would be the only reason I would go with an auto, it eventually happens to everyone some sooner than others, looking in the future for my own knee surgery hoping it won't turn out the same!

Right. Yea I know it would be fun having the manual. I saw one on the used car lot on post a few months ago. But this is better for me. Plus if I ever do track it, will be much better not having to worry about getting out off first proper like or effin up a shift lol.

Double clutch gear boxes have gotten so much better lately and can usual get better times with them but the fun factor does go down.

You got to do what you got to do... I messed up my ankle pretty bad in 08 and it took a while for me to use the clutch, it used to stall on me like a rookie.... ha ha
Nice car!!! Reminds me of the Scion Tc I bought for my daughter.

I agree with this!

I feel your pain though man, it's hard on the entire family when your DD goes down and gotta do a swap! To be honest I am surprised you held on as long as you did!

Glad to see things are on the up bro!
