So,
I have a question.
NYE when i left the house i was at, i managed to hit the Mailbox and put a nice dent in my tailgate and actually bend the tailgate a bit. (i was stupid, it was late, i didn't see the box, thought i was at the street because of the way the driveway kind of opened up, I went to turn and bam. Lucky though, almost drove into the ditch instead)
Been trying to figure out how to go about replacing it.
If it was just the dent, i'd probably just try and fix it myself, but with it bend i don't think i'll be able to.
a new tailgate shell is about $230 bucks before shipping, but that doesn't include paint i am seeing randomn threads and stuff with dealerships charging $1k to replace it.
Is there a cheaper/better alternative?
