4th gear, or it doesn't matter. And how do those brand dynos compare to dynoyet and others? Those number so seem stupid high.

I had this conversation with a tuner. It started with me sayin.... I think above ground dynos r erroneous, suck. Thats when he told me thats he misconception with dynos.. We didnt speak on terms regarding the dyno putting numbers down but more of the tunin aspect of it... The guy i spoke with stated that some of them r better than others and liked using dynos that have eddy current readings that way he can see n e minut skips in the power be transferred down to the wheels.

make any sense?

I can't tell you the schematics of it but it works. Back in 09 when I had my unichip custom tuned, it kept down shifting ruining the pulls. Andrew from San Dimas auto figured out that the tacomas guys where pulling this fuse to disable the speed limiter for their tuning and it ended up working for our trucks as well. You lose all the nannies and speed limiter but abs as well. I believe he had my truck up to 130 at one point. But this was a few years ago.

Or do u think this is like that lil wire snip behind the gauges that does the same thing?
IIRC Gadget said it may screw up or disable the VVTi (the wire snip mod)

Good luck mate. Always nice to get the car on the dyno so u can give ral numbers if people ask u. Ask them to put a side fane to blow air through the inter cooler on the driver side.

Good deal Dude!! dyno testing is usually done in one gear if you want to know how is the engine condition now. My first car was Toyota Corolla XLI, I learn drive on that and make many mistakes.

That's some nice numbers you got there!
The cold air also made a punch in your number as well I guess if you are living in the Tri-state.
Envy you how low your truck is as well.

Damn dude, really nice numbers. Mine was done in 3rd gear on a dyno that was not underground or whatever. Mine was up on a lift. It appears that i have very similar mods as you but my torque number was nowhere near yours.
