Tryin my best, I got to get some tuner lug nuts and locks.

Any suggestion on tuner lugnuts and locks? Color and type?
For some reason I'm towards gold extended lugs:hmmmm2:

Kics R40 hands down, They have a floating seat and wont dig into the aluminum where the lug nut seats

Are those the vt48? Are these just the style or are they name brand. I looked in ebay as varrstoen lugnuts and a bunch of them look the same with no brand on them. Also couldn't find a set with locks.
Thanks

Those wheels are sick! So colored lugnuts are not that durable against scratches. In that case that makes me lean towards chrome or non painted lugs. Where did you get your lugs and how much?

I just saw the review on these and they are what you pay for, Quality. About $200 a set. I'm gonna look into these lug nuts if the wallet is healthy. To compare them to muteki, rays and the varrestoen these look to be the boss of them.

thanks for the link!

I like the vs-xx

mee too! I like the new step lip design also.

The volks look good.

thanks, hope the turnout with the tires and offset with these wheels will look decent.

Aluminum lugs with steel studs will not last you very long, if you like to take it on and off a lot. I've gone through two sets of WORK aluminum lugs when I had the G and works.

This is good info to add on the search thanks, I do quite a bit of removing and installing during june and july due to my recon (stupid Hawaii dmv law) my safety check expiration date is due end of july, not sure if ill pass this year because rims was not noted in the recon papers, only drop kit and suspension work. My wheels are 2 sizes up now. Hope they will pass inspection.

Here is the link to my lug nuts. http://www.evasivemotorsports.com/m...&Product_Code=RAYS-42LUG-RED&Category_Code=L1

If you are changing the tires by yourself and taking your time there is no issues with the coloured aluminum ones. I shoddy tire shop could ruin them pretty quickly though.

nice! work lugs are dope too.
I wish I could buy them at that shop. It would cost me $600 to fly there lol.
For now I just got regular gorilla locks just to throw the rims on already. I'll order the race lugs later after my safety check. Also might need some spacers because of the offset.
Any suggestions on wheel spacers anyone?
pics coming soon!

What kind of JDM spoiler is that?

The tailgate wing? Or the front end?

Its not really jdm products. The tailgate wing is a custom job I did, turning a f150 wing to fit the xr.
And the front end is a universal splitter I got from ebay. I needed to measure the bumper lip for proper fitment.

Your splitter is pimp.

Lol thanks. Some people like it and some don't, I just laugh:laugh:

Spacers would help, looks like my last set and the fitment bugged me so I got new wheels and the right offset does a world of difference in the looks department.
