I can vouch for you providing that knowledge. You're always on top of your game and helped with my build as well. Thanks for that cause it was a big help. I should send you more Mac nut cookies haha. I know I'll need the help in the future cause I'm catching the bug to build my motor again. I blame the boost...

Oh hell yeah! Down for those cookies man!

Well you already have the VB upgraded. Truck is running well. Just keep it like it is and enjoy it for now. It took a while to get to this point. As long as you keep the boost and tune where they are, and everything is fine, just have fun every time you drive it. After some time has past, then make that next step. The enjoyment to down time ratio needs to be in favour of the enjoyment. Otherwise you get bummed out.

Gather the parts slowly, unless you have the cash to pick up those internals which are for sale. Again though, just enjoy it for a while.

It is just the waiting game for mine. Can't do anything engine wise right now. Mine are next in line, is what i was told. A lot of work on them to be done though. The crank out of your engine needs a lot of work. Might or might not be worth it depending on how much the cost is compared to buying a new one. My stroker crank doesn't need much work at all. Being
rare though, it was a bit of an ordeal for them to get all of the necessary information for how much could be removed, in conjunction with what bearings could be used (if oversized were available). All of that info is now in hand.

Pm me your info I'll send u a care package.

I agree with that statement. Everything is good to go. Still trying to schedule a dyno but the shop is booked a month out. i still have my other block that's just sitting on the stand. How far would rods and Pistons bring me?

The guys with the built XR had made mid 600's with those. Head studs and head gaskets of course. That was well before sleeves were even thought about. As long as the tuning is sound, you'll be good too.

My reason for sleeves: I want them. They increase the repairability of the engine, they don't run the risk of cylinder wobble, they are much stronger than the aluminum sleeves, and I'll be able to have complete confidence in running over 600 whp. With the added pressure from necessary boost, and increased RPM's (even though only a little), I want that security.

Now as long as i don't starve the engine of oil again, it will be great.

From Rotora? Perhaps. I purchased mine through Tundra Racing. I haven't been on Rotora's website in a while though.

What would be better is if you could get the 6 piston from Stop Tech. Better quality, upgradeable components, and a ton more support.

With the right bracket, you could easily have their 6 piston kit. If interested, this is who you need to talk to. http://store.zeckhausen.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=24_212_511

That is also the link to my size rotors. I adapted the Stop Tech rotors to the Rotora hats. The Rotora rotors wore out very quickly and deformed at the pins, in such a fashion that was very unsafe. The hat, while bolted down, could literally move around. Whereas it is only supposed to be able to expand from heat, and not move side to side.

Also, just shipped out your old intake manifold yesterday. Been in my attic for a long time, and is now on its way to a new owner.
