Tank drop has been easiest for me. Also in the instructions as such. Done about 20. Familiarize yourself with them. Then it can completed in 30 minutes to an hour.
i was wondering if it would be easier to drop the tank. Iv had my bed off before to do the notch. It wasnt hard or very time consuming but re-aligning everything after took a while

Guess I'll be dropping the tank. Anyone else running the same set up as I am? How long have you been running it this way? I've had my TRD supercharger on for well over two years but just installed the URD 2.825 pulley.

The TRD reflash can support the 2.8 pulley. I emailed Gadget about it years ago.

Good to hear... Maybe down the road I could afford the UCON, still unsure of how it actually works. Would love to be able to fine tune the truck but no one around here is capable of doing so.

I ran the 2.8 pulley with the stock fuel pump/fuel system and tune (just TRD reflash) on both my old '08 X-Runner and '13 4x4 with no problems whatsoever. Both trucks were/are driven hard. Dragstrip runs, etc.

Appreciate the info... Ready to take her back to the track to see what kinda difference the 2.825 pulley has made... best run before the new pulley was 14.25.

It can, but is being taxed very close to its limits of supported engine power. We have tested the OEM fuel pump and have the data. If I could ever get it. I HIGHLY recommend getting the pump upgraded. It is a safety upgrade. A cheap one at that.

What fuel pump is recommended, keep in mind the possibilities of future upgrades.

What's the max boost psi I could run on the 255 lph fuel pump? Just in case I decide to do another pulley swap.

Worry about your motor if you think you are going to out flow the 255

Get rid of your stock exhaust. Run straight through mufflers and ditch the cats. Your boost pressure will go down and you'll make another good 20 to 30 hp. Upgrade your fuel pump and your good to go. no tuning needed with the 2.825 pulley if you do those few simple things. My truck runs amazing like this and I know others have too :top:

Yup! TRD Supercharged with 2.825 pulley. No cats. Doug Thorley long tube headers, URD Competition Y-Pipe, and URD MK2 catback with a 24" magnaflow and a vibrant ultraquiet resonator. Both straight threw mufflers. Quiet cruising volume but pretty loud when you get on it and no rasp at all. Took a little trial and error before getting the exhaust just right but its perfect now. You'd have to hear it in person to see how nice it really is. Not overly loud by any means. The exhaust is about the same volume level as the supercharger whine for reference
