I've been off the board for quiet away. My truck had been down and life had gotten in the way so it was in storage and has recently been resurrected. Its been awhile since working with X-tune and I am trying to get back up to speed.
I would like to have a better grasp on reading my ign. timing charts. I haven't had a solid time to get with a buddy to do any good logging sessions. I managed a quick 3rd gear pull and pulled a sample. The sparkOEM pulled timing in what seamed to be a very gradual manner then advanced it abruptly. I may be mis-reading the chart but to pull down timing to 8.8 then shoot up to 22 and to cross below the X1spark numbers, it just wasn't what I was expecting to see. Normally knock pulls timing out instantly and at a sharp drop?
Again I apologize if this is covered somewhere. I searched with no real result. I remembered the HOW TO's and revisited the part 1 and 2 on logging with the X-1. I am just trying to get both myself and the truck back up to speed.
TIA on any input.
