So it's been two days. They gave me a rental car.
I just called them and they still don't know what's going on. I told the service advisor to tell the mechanic that if they install the old intake. All the problem will be fixed.
I hope he relays it to the mechanic.
Any more advice or suggestions y'all?

If they got rid of your old Gen1 TRD intake (non CARB legal), tell them to install a stock intake so you can pass smog inspection.

Hey guys. I just read that since the Gen 2 CAI is not comapatable with my S/C. I heard that it can cause damage to your engine.
They put the Gen 2 CAI in my truck about 6 months ago and I have put in about 5,000 miles.
My question is.
How do I determine if my engine and S/C has any damage from that CAI that they placed?
Because I will raise hell and sue the shit of these bastards if my truck is damaged.
Please any advice.

Do you have a boost gauge hooked up? Check the acc port on your supercharger to see if the rubber cover is cracked and check all vacuum lines on the unit for deterioration. I have a rubber adapter on my port/nipple that my boost gauge line goes into that cracks every year or so and it throws that code.

Alright guys. Here's an update.
The Toyota advisor just called me since my car has been in their shop for 3 days now.
1. They swapped out my entire intake to a stock one, and it didn't fix the problem.
2. They drained my gas. That didn't fix anything.
3. They reseted or flashed my ECU. That didn't help.

What in the hek could be wrong?

Maybe it has an intake leak? Maybe the maf is dirty? Maybe there is a loose or broken vacuum line? Maybe the boost reference cap in the pic above is cracked or missing

Thank you Guys. It's Been 7 days and they still have my truck. I'm waiting for the advisor to call me today and I will tell him about the ACC port. This is the longest time that my truck has ever been in the shop.
They still can't figure out what the heck is wrong. Not even their master mechanic.
Hopefully the ACC port will be it.
