Luckily they aren't in Ontario so I'm good. I know a few people that work out there. They have been evacuated and are all good. It was pretty bad out there. Think they are somewhat getting it under control now.

all good here. most people were completely out of fort mcmurray within 72 hours of the vac notice. either by going north to the work camps and then being flown out by the oil companies or driving out to the south, to other larger cities. people are still displaced and will be for some time. right now they are still accessing the damage and trying to figure out what all has to be done before residents can return

Like Darth said, all friends and co-workers got out safely but very chaotic non the less.
