Hey G,

Sorry if this is a pain in the @$$ for you, but do you still send guys custom maps for the URD MAF CAL?

Been a couple of years since i have tuned the truck. And i have a new laptop since the last time. I still have the X-tune install disk (I Think) Anyways, Just thought I would ask. Since you sorta owe me a favor. (Your words last time we spoke on the phone)

Thank you for your time

Will do G.

Sorry, i tried to PM you before this, but it wouldnt go through. I know you are a busy guy and didnt want to bother you too much. Thats why i didnt "call you" personally. And i am not in a hurry or anything. Just figured i would post on here and you would eventually see it.

Thank you

Youre right, just wasnt thinking it was along the lines of tech support for some reason. But see the error of my ways now, heh.

I got the R4 software on my laptop and have the map that G sent unzipped on desktop. I am not seeing how to get it into the software.

Do i have to plug into the truck MAF CAL before it will let me? The instructions are very simplistic and merely say that you can drag and drop them into it, but it will not let me do that. When i get home i will try to plug it in first.

Sorry, its been about 2 years or longer since i have played around with the software. And back then when i did it, i wasnt loading a map. I was on a dyno with a tech and we were playing with the tune. Then i was out on the road adjusting it a bit. So just have to figure out how to get the map G sent into there.

Thanks for any help.

Nice! I lost that guide that had came with it so i was trying to read the brochure thats on the disc. Lots of info on there, but it wasnt helping at all.

Looks like i DO need to be plugged in and then once the 'customer' file is open i have to select "Write Data to the ECU". At least thats how i am interpreting it. I am assuming once i do that a window will come up with the map you sent as an option to write. I think, lol.

Anyways, i will muddle my way through it and try to figure it out as i read. Thanks again G
