Track session

I took my x runner to NYST (New York safety track) located up in Jefferson NY. Mainly a bike track but they do sessions with cars there too. Had a blast. Truck has lowering springs, atd fluid and br Goodrich Gforce tires lol (340 tw FTW). I'm an autocrosser and not a track guy at all. I was consistently trying different lines thru out the day and sometimes forced to take a really wide line when I didn't have much stoping power haha. Truck is actually a lot of fun. Went off track once. Destroyed half my body kit, ripped it all off and went right back out. Just made me love this truck even more. The off track I had would of wrecked a car. I went into a ditch doing 20mph.
track is beautiful. They are going to do another discounted group session in October and try to do 5 more next year if anyone is interested. Price is 225-250 for 7 20 min sessions.

Good price for that much track time. Lots cheaper than Watkins glen.
Once the track bug bites you it hard to not go have a blast every chance you get.
Welcome to the club, not too many of us track our trucks.

I have a track session coming up at Motorsports ranch. 6 sessions for 360 bucks 20 minutes runs each. This will be my third time out there. I call ahead just to check in with them and tell them what I'm driving. Most people are interested to see a truck on the track. It's pretty rare

Yea I was.... 90% of those late apexs were because the truck wasn't stopping like before. I still think the brakes were great for what they were dealing with. That was session 4 of 7. I still have a main track toy and a main autocross car to focus on BUT I'm def going to build this truck now. It's so much fun and a lot more capable than I thought. I'm actually very curious what it could do with a well balanced power/suspension build.

Def caught the bug with this truck.
