Okay I need your help. I was driving down the road at about 60 when my Celica just died! The RPM's dropped the check engine light flickered and then nothing. I coasted to the side of the road to restart it and it wouldn't crank and all, another funny thing I noticed was that the CEL didn't come on when I tried to turn it on. I replaced the Main relay, and the battery, alternator, and fuses are all good. Can anyone here tell me what I'm dealing with? I'm thinking that maybe the ECU and Ignition aren't getting power? But I could be wrong any ideas?

Try to check your grounds. Might have corroded and broke off. Just a thought. And double and triple check fuses. Possible fusible link.

Might be a coincidence but the check engine light bulb might have went? lol I've see. It happen. Just tap the gauge cluster and comes back on. But you can always test the starter. Should just have 2 wires going into it. The big one which should always be 12 volts and then the small signal wire which should be 12 volts when it key is turned to crank.

I would say check the starter like I said above for voltage. And you might want to check the ignition cylinder too. It all just sounds weird to have happen when the car was driving and just die.
