A buddy ran the 2.7 pulley on his X with LT headers, straight pipe exhaust, TRD intake and the TRD tune without issue. I've heard of someone running the 2.55 with the FPR mod and TRD tune (not sure about other mods) and he was a little lean. I would use the 7th injector kit with the 2.55 pulley just to keep the intake charge temps down since the TRD blower is already a space heater.

When I talked to Gadget, he recommended against running the 2.7 just with the maf cal. That being said, guys have done it. I don't think the 2.55 has ever been done without tuning beyond a maf cal.

I know someone with maf cal and 2.7 and haven't heard any negative feedback from him.
With that being said, with my new UCON install and 7th injector I'm going from the 2.7 to the 2.55 so if you'd like the 2.7 pm me and we could make a fair deal for each of us

I've heard the same from a 2.7 pulley and maf cal owner, but if you run the tank just that bit too low, take a hard corner, and the pump cavitates, then you get booom with no engine gaurdian. But can it be tuned to have enough fuel, from what I've heard, yes.

I'm running the 2.7 pulley with the maf cal and I'm happy with it! I opted for the 2.7 cause it's my daily/work truck that I drive through traffic and go cruise on the weekends. I just didn't like the idea of the supercharge spinning overdrive on just daily occasional driving, wear and tear kinda thing. But the main concern for me was the heat the supercharge will be producing. 7th injector maybe.. but I drive my truck really hard would constant runs on the freeways!
