That looks like fun ! Excuse my ignorance but what is the difference between one of these and a normal short course traxxas slash ? I had a ford raptor body slash brushless a couple years back that was an absolute blast. If i buy another it will be a basher of some type !

man that new e-revo looks awesome ! I have messed around with them. They are great bashers ! way better than the hpi basher I have seen here at the local hobby shop. Guys that know there stuff said stick with traxxas. I beat the absolute crap out of my slash - including accidently fully submerging it in a little ravine - could not kill that thing lol

That new E-Revo 2.0 basically has the beefed up drivetrain of the X-Maxx!

I’m going tomorrow to pre order one of those new e-revos. There’s been some talk on the Traxxas forums of some local hobby shops actually having them in stock tomorrow, but I doubt it.

I’ve never really been into rc’s but that thing is sick and I’d like to have something to keep me occupied from time to time lol

Are you a member of the Traxxas forum? If you are, what is your screen name there?

Have fun!

Well apparently they’re not in the Horizon system yet (idk what that is lol) so he said it’ll probably be another two weeks before they have them.

Here's a good review on the E-Revo 2.0 by Big Squid RC:

Yeah I read that, seems like everyone likes these things. I have a green one coming in for me at the hobby shop in town here but he doesn’t know exactly when he’ll get them. I went ahead and picked up the dual charger and two of the 3s batteries, and the Traxxas link card that goes in the controller.

I made an account over there but I mostly just creep right now lol. Same username as here.

I just bought a Traxxas Slash 4x4 last week. I’m about 900 into this RC car. It’s a lot of fun though

Very cool!

I used to be into R/C planes. That hobby was eating through my paycheck very fast. I found that flying the real planes was actually cheaper and got an airplane and helicopter rating.

I am sure it would be the same way for this little truck. Cheaper to just keep building my off road 4Runner.
