So-I went into my local Toyota dealership to see about ordering new 4x4 leafs...should have known they want $1,000.00 each!!! Needless to say I wont be going that route. I found some aftermarket companies who offer direct oem replacements at a reasonable price. They claim to be a higher quality too. But I'm unsure what the drop will be with them. In theory it should be the same if I order the ones that are listed as the same direct oem replacement. They even offer heavier duty ones that should give even more drop..the guy I talked to said it will raise the 4x4 by about an 1" more. So I assume that means I would get another 1" drop? My question is has anyone gone this route instead of oem 4x4 leafs and how did it work-out?

Damn,
There are many sets of New Warranty and New Take Off springs available just go to Tacoma World and look in the For Sale section!
Also if you go with a springs that are any lower than the 4x4 / 6 lug springs with out using blocks you're going to need a shorter shock then the QA1 TS703‼️ Good Luck with that and you will need to notch the frame‼️
Did you read what Gadget said? You should go back and read it.

Ya-I have been keeping an eye out for the oem take-off springs. But trying to find them local is the challenge. Definitely not going the route of blocks/notching. So I can use the 4x4 6-lug oem springs with the QA1 TS703 shocks though right??

1st. Shipping is doable! The springs don't need to be boxed, just put a label on each one.
2nd. If you are not going to notch why are you looking for the lowest springs you can find, just pickup some late model 6 lug leafs and call it good
