To start this out, I'm on the DJM 3/3 and rolling on 20 X 10.5 all the way around. I've carved up my fenders and flares as well as the linings front and rear. After seeing the Tundra TRD-Pro, I thought it would be cleaner on the X. I'm a Subie and Evo guy all into the MNT rider kits.
I've been in contact with someone about making a kit for tacoma's, mainly X's seeing how they are more into the sport car scene. They would have never given it a thought until I showed them the tundra and poked their interest. I let them know that other than the factory X kit, no kit exists for it and the market would be in his favor.
So here's what I told him I wanted.
1. 2 in wider flares, 3 in as an alternative. I wanted the fenders to blend with a more aggressive side skirt and front bumper lip.
2. I told him that people are interested in wider fenders and he even thought about a complete wide fender.....if you are, let me know so I can show him the interest. He has made some bad ass kits that aren't crazy transformer looking.
Here's the part that will discourage a lot of you... it's going to be pricey, like over $4k.
Once I get some designs, I'll post them up.
