Well today I found out what I really was making the wheels. I was thrilled to see what she was gonna put out but expectations missed their mark. I was hoping above 300hp+ at the wheels but was short. I'll need to plan out my next upgrade as budget is getting tight.

What all do you have done to it? Wanted to put mine on the dyno but haven’t had the opportunity yet.

According to the shop banner he should be at blacktrax in the Bay Area California. Jay at BT is good at tuning. I have never gone there but the shop is well known for tuning S2000’s. I used to get my stuff tuned at shops in Sacramento.

I could be wrong but I thought that BT dyno read a little lower than other shops. In all honesty unless the OP got a base dyno (pre SC), it would be hard to say how much of a bump he really got. I’d be more interested to see the delta in HP from his stock setup.

Performance wise, typical S/C (air to water cooled) with Volant air box, URD exhaust system (excluding mid pipes and headers basically stock), oil cooler, nonstop pullies, URD lite flywheel with stage 3 clutch, and Walboro 255lph fuel pump with URD fuel mod. I have other parts that I haven't installed yet like my CSF aluminum radiator and Snow ethanol system which would have probably gotten me to my desired result. I think I'll just post in the garage section for mod list cuz its a lot.

If you're still running the stock 3.00" pulley, you can upgrade to a pulleyboys qwikchange setup and get a 2.8 to get you closer to your hp/tq goal. I believe 2.8 is the smallest you can run on stock TRD S/C injectors (455cc) w/ the UCON at sea level. With a 2.7 it comes close to maxing out the injector duty cycle.

If you have the TRD reflash and do the fuel pressure regulator mod, you can run a smaller pulley on the TRD injectors. This is only if you are boost referencing your FPR so you can increase the fuel pressure proportionately with the amount of boost you're building

I have a TRD supercharger, URD fuel pump upgrade, Volant airbox and a stealth pulley and hit the 300HP mark. That is with a completely stock exhaust. You should be close especially if you swap for a smaller pulley.

EATON M90 QWIKCHANGE PULLEY KIT? Is it this one?

I was thinking afterwards that it was the case.

OP is in Northern California. 91 Octane fuel is readily available here. Any higher octane fuel (Octane 101) is far and few in between.
Because of that, I would recommend that a 2.8 pulley is the safest bet for OP to use if he has stock injectors and 2.7" if OP has the meth injection dialed in.

I did some dyno pulls at another shop (DeLeon Dyno) not far from Blacktrax. Both shops use a Dynapak dynamometer. I have similar mods as OP except with headers, y-pipe, and software.

Stock: Max Power: 326.4 Max Torque: 371.8
OVT Octane 91 program: Max Power: 335.8 Max Torque: 371.7
OVT Octane 93 program: Max Power: 341.3 Max Torque: 379.5

OP: you should definitely upgrade to the URD Stealth 2.8 pulley. And be aware that the QuikChange pulley may cause you to fail the visual portion of CARB smog tests. Those pullies usually have their logo etched onto the face of the pulley.

Any time you are going to dyno your truck for the purpose of seeing how your result is going to compare to others, make sure you use a DynoJet dyno. They are super simple in function and are very repeatable from one DynoJet to another and are great for comparing numbers with others.

I dynoed my XRunner in CA on a DynoJet and drove it back to MD and dynoed it on another DynoJet and there was a 3 HP difference.

Some dynos have much higher or lower numbers than others even when using the same brand and model. DynoJets are very consistent.

I think @o0opackersfano0o might have something to say about this....

Ahhh, good catch! The 2.8 is the smallest you can run on the Stock injectors with the UCON. If you have the TRD reflash and do the FPR mod, you can absolutely go smaller than the 2.8. However, since the UCON needs constant fuel pressure to dial in the AFRs, you would need bigger injectors only if you have the UCON
