wanted to start a thread on my favorite car. i know this is an xr forum, but hey, at least its a toyota, right?
anyone else here own one? i know at least one other guy here does. who else here is a fan? im a huge fan myself. heres my story...

back in 98 i looked high and low for a new sports car and ended up getting a 98 mitz 3g eclipse....loved that car, but felt horrible when i drove by the dealership a couple weeks later and saw a white mkiv supra for the first time.

didn't realize how rare they were. from that time in 1998 to 2010 i only saw 2 others, a black one and another white one and it may have been the same one. in 2010 i bought a 93 alpine silver mkiv imported from japan (insert f&f joke here). it was right hand drive and manual 5 speed.

really enjoyed that car (the one in my sig btw), but it was n/a and it was gonna a ton of cash to upgrade to twin turbo/ 6 speed. had it for 4-5 years. a guy on one of my other car forums had a 93 built big single turbo widebody rx7 (fd) and we ended up trading even.

nevermind that i already had a 93 twin turbo 5 speed rx7 (one in sig)…i needed this car lol. anyways i ended up missing my mkiv so much i went on the hunt for over a year to find another. at the time i had a built 2000 snakeskin green 6 speed ws6 (in sig) and finished it up. i tried to find some with a supra who would trade for my ws6. no dice, most people who had supra didn't care for domestics lol.

i ended up trading my ws6 to the guy who originally started the build on it. he had a 04 white 350z, so we traded. a few months later i came across a guy who had blown the engine on his blue 95 supra, so me and my brother took a trip down to houston to check it out. we ended up trading...it would become my new project.

about a year ago a friend ran into some financial difficulties so i bought his white 88 turbo 7m mklll supra to help him out. this was to be my "drift project". so yeah, im kind of a fan lol....ive owned 3 so far...

Very nice!
My first car was a terra cotta 1983 Toyota Celica Supra P-Type.
A fun car in it's day, but would get smoked by most standard sedans now.
That said, I still wouldn't mind having one again...

my brother-in-law had one of those...a really cool car.

i wouldn't mind having one either, but they are getting hard to find too.
