I just hope that this will help bring the Sport Truck back and prompt Toyota to revive the X-Runner!

GMC is re introducing the Syclone on the Canyon chassis and it boasts 455HP from a V6 turbo and all wheel drive. This is the next truck I want! no modding required.

Need a car show? Burien is doing their Father's Day Car Show again this year. Bring an X and enter. I'm entering mine. We are doing Fathers eat free at https://www.pitstoptaproom.com/, and will have part of the parking lot closed off for hot rods. Come by to eat, check out the cars/trucks, have food, meet people, and have a beer.

It was a good day today. Nice weather, not too hot. Free Father's Day food at Pit Stop after the show. I didn't get to hang out very long at the show because of work, but I saw a bunch of people checking out the X. I put a little flyer in the window explaining about the X and what it had and heard some people say they had never heard of it. Makes me smile.

Don't have pics but got to set up next to some buddies. 69 Firebird, 64 GTO, Buick Convertible, don't know year/make, 65 Chevy Wagon with built SB. People stopped to check out the X, I think it helped that I had the hood up with the supercharger and an info sheet

I take my X into the shop tomorrow. It hasn't ran in months and I just haven't had the time to get it looked at. Hope it's back on the road this week!

What's wrong with it? I know why mine is off the road for years. No money, other projects, like work, more important. Good luck with it.

I took it to the car detailer to get my engine bay detailed. Come to find out they just hosed the shit out of it. There was water all up in my fuse box. Literally the mechanic took an air hose sprayed it all out, let it dry for a bit and the truck fired up. Also somehow it got put in Valet mode. Thanks to Gadget's solid customer service he walked me through how to turn that off and the truck was back up and running. Learn something new everyday! When's the next meet?!?!? We rolled deep last year to the Toyota show at Griot's garage in Tacoma. We should get something going this summer.

I've tried to make Griot's but something usually comes up. The truck was off the road for about 2 years, but I'll be able to take it out this summer. I didn't know the trucks had a valet mode. I did some meets a few years ago, even did one in Silverdale at Silver City brewing. Might try to do a couple this year. You can always swing by Burien at Pit Stop if you're in the area. I'd like to check out your truck and see/hear the exhaust. Glad it's back on the road

We should do Griots again this year. Probably July sometime or same one we did last year. We should post it on NW xrunners on Facebook. Probably more views there.

Not much action lately so let's do a meet up. I got my truck out for the Father's Day car show so it's on the road, Meet Up. July 7th looks good, no rain. Get away after the 4th. We'll meet up at Pit Stop https://www.pitstoptaproom.com/ in Burien. Lots of parking on a Sunday, outside deck to have a beer and talk. Check out trucks.

Hey, is anyone coming to this? I have to work in the morning and if no one is showing, I'm going to a car show in Renton.

What's your favorite beer. I have many, so I drink a lot of different types. The other day I had Hoppin Frog Extended Barrel Aged Boris, a 9.4% Russian Imp Stout. Really good. Right now I'm working on Stone Enjoy By 7-4-19. It has a good malt backing and the flavor of the hops taste like all leaf. I don't think people realize it's a double IPA at 9.4%. Guess I won't be drinking the whole six pack in one sitting. What are some of your favorite, different beers? I also get a bunch of specialty beer from Tavor.

Well, I finished my evening on the deck reading with an Elysian Snailbones IPA. Went to bed to watch the last episode of Stranger Things and it was longer than I thought, so I'm back to the Stone Enjoy By to finish the show.

Anybody in the Seattle area into Pinball? I have some pinball games where I work but I've been playing like shit. Would like to find some X-Runner peeps to hang with, get the trucks together, and play pinball. Sometimes throw some money down for fun on games. I was at Hooverville today playing. I don't go deep into Seattle much, like Shorty's, even though I used to hang out there, it got too expensive. Like to hang on the south end, 8 Bit in Renton, places in Georgetown. Who's up for competition?
