No, just run a pub and used to brew professionally. There hasn't been much activity in the NW section so I just ramble on to keep things going.

It's been awhile again. Had to work about 5 weeks straight. Between people being gone on vacation and being sick, it was non stop. Another double today, someone looked at the schedule before it was done and didn't see he had to work tonight. So when I stopped in on my way home for dinner, it was busy, short handed, and I jumped in. Just got home so my beer for tonight is 54-40 Shark Destroyer murky IPA. It's a new one so there is no link on rate beer for it.

One of the problems with working a lot is getting lazy and not doing the dishes, so I had a large pile of dirty dishes to deal with. So while working on them, I gave a shout out to the Oregon crew. Drinking a 10 Barrel Profuse Juice IPA https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/10-barrel-profuse-juice/750792/ I'm getting tired of some of the hazy IPAs, but I like this one. I'll try to get a keg of it to put on tap. Since it was Halloween last night, I had the Pumpkinator https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/saint-arnold-pumpkinator-imperial-pumpkin-stout/110522/ while in the hot tub. Really good, the pumpkin spicing was not over bearing and Imperial stouts go great in the hot tub

It's the start of Winter/Christmas beer season so what better way to watch SNF than one of my old favorites, Sierra Nevada Celebration https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/sierra-nevada-celebration-ale/370/ It's a fresh hop beer but also their winter beer so it's also our transition beer from fresh hop to winter beer. It's been around a long time and I still love it. Piney, bitter, a little dry, not the hazy, fruity style. I'm old school and still like it.

Also, another good game by the Ducks. Started off slow and out of synch, really frustrating. But they came back and dominated USC. Go Ducks

What's your thoughts on the Seahawks today? I asked a friend, who is a season ticket holder, I thought everyone said they would blow them out. He said they play down to the opponent. Went for a walk with the dogs when overtime started, had the game on pause, and knew who won during the walk by all of the fireworks in the neighborhood It freaked the dogs out. The have a winning record but don't seem to be dominating.

I love the idea of a high horse v8 in a pickup. For me though, most of the trucks have gotten too big. That Ford looks on the big side. Even the X is bigger than I wanted. If Toyota took the 4.0 and six speed and put it in the size of like an 85 Toy, to me, that would scream. Chevy should have put a V-8 option originally in the S-10 instead of the rest of us doing it.

It's a Florida beer. Not an area known that much for craft beer, Cigar City is really the big one I hear about. What about you Florida guys, what do you think of them.

Been awhile again. Had a bunch of beers but haven't posted. One of the latest ones was Rogue, https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/rogue-ales-cherry-choctabulous/778447/. It was pretty good, probably bringing this one in on tap at the pub. A bunch of Matchless beers, my favorite being Old Pine https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/matchless-old-pine/485268/. I still like the old school, piney IPAs. To end the night, I'm drinking Ft George Vortex https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/fort-george-vortex-ipa/75728/. I forgot how good this one was. I'll have to bring it back on tap. Just picked up a couple of barrel aged barley wines, I'll be having them either during Christmas or the Rose Bowl. We are doing a couple dollars off growler fills on Tues, then closing early for an employee party but letting people in for to go beer. More later

Beast Mode is back in Seattle. My wife is pretty excited, but I'm a little reserved. Been a year and a half since he played, and he's 33. But it will give a big emotional boost.
