Ah... why would you need coilovers if you ran bags **

Just the answer I needed, so I don't need to get coil overs. I didn't know any better. Appreciate it!
The bag acts like the coil spring

Just know that there is not bolt on air suspension kit available that I'm aware of. It'll have to be a one-off custom. Not that it hasn't been done before, just won't be a simple installation.

There is one kit available that I would be able to source. But it is NOT a bolt on kit, it does require welding and cutting.

I plan on having a shop do it for me either way but i'm interested in the kit, how much is it?

18K seems quite high
How did you calculate the spring rate?

I used my experience with race car setup. Most of my race cars were pretty close to a 50/50 ratio, where this truck is grossly front heavy and just pure heavy. Most people assume stiff springs as uncomfortable and that is true. With a djm drop kit, and stock springs (650), the truck had a gross tendency to want to oversteer when you're on it. I noticed that people on this site are opting for 650 with the qa1's, I didn't know why and that's none of my business.

I'm trying to combat the oversteer, so I wanted to raise the fronts spring rate. At 14k, it would be better, but I'm on 20 x 10.5 in the front and have rub issues when turning, cornering, and bumps would bottom out.

18k fronts seems like the most logical rate to go with the qa1 rear. And what do you know...the truck does not bottom out, corners like a race car, and the ride is not harsh at all. I did raise it 1 inch after the djm 3/3. So technically now, I'm a 2/2 drop.

what are your plans for the rear? Have you asked them if they're going to build anything for the rear? I plan on going 3/4 but I don't want it to be too bumpy. I plan on bagging it too. Would I still need the new coilovers to make it smooth even when I bag it?

The QA1's are pretty good as they are and I am notched. If you're bagging, who cares. I couldn't be any happier with my setup now. Brakes is next on the list.

Also, I didn't have brake line bracket, so I had to use zip tie and will be making a clamp bracket setup. Ghetto, I know, but works pretty good

You purchased front coilovers from Feals and they did NOT provide brakeline mounts⁉️

Yeah I can’t seem to upload photos anymore also.

Update:
If you're worried about rough ride, it definitely is not. I have the dampers set at middle and it actually performs pretty damn well. The ride comfort is actually better than the original shocks and the steering is more responsive and not unpredictable (no dead spots) and if you full throttle it on tight turns, it neither under or oversteers. The truck will respond how you want it to. I'm going to try out the rears when they come out.

Did you buy the 441 road race kit?
Have they contacted you yet about making the rear shocks yet?
How do you like the upgrade so far?

Thanks...

Hmmm...
Well I paid $6,500 in attorney fees so my employer is keeping me on disability pay it’s not much but it’s better than being $h!t canned at my age.
So I installed the QA1’s front and rear but looks like lm going to need just a tad shorter rear shocks. My setup is dropped with all spring and I haven’t notched yet but I need to. So I will need a shock shorter than QA1 TS703, Compressed 12.38” & Extended 19.0”. Anyone interested in a set of QA1’s with less than 500 miles hit me up!
I also went with DJM UCA and stock lower control arms so as soon as I change the front bump stops I may need to go with a shorter front shock but I don’t know yet. Just an FYI for every turn on the adjustment collar I get a 1/4” of drop or lift.

RacerX,
I just have 525 in/lbs front springs and I have the front shocks adjusted at 6 out of 18 and they are plenty stiff. The rears are adjusted at 5 just enough to keep from bottoming. Plus I’m running 245 & 255/50-19 rubber or 28.6” & 30” tall rubber. I feel the ride is as stiff or stiffer then the Bil’s and lowering springs. So I don’t know how your springs can ride as good as you say. But I’m not you, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Also you guys who haven’t been in a Taco with QA1’s the shocks go from feeling like the shocks are gone to someone welded in Rebar for shocks. I was curious so I adjusted them at both ends of the scale and all I can say is OMG‼️
