Anybody watch True Detective with Woody Harrelson? Just starting to watch it. What do you think.

Had this after dinner with friends as my hot tub beer. https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/zipline-barrel-aged-calavera-stout/467242/ After all we had drank, it was still really good. The chili peppers didn't really come out for me which is good. I love spicy food but not beer. My buddy loved it to. Tonight watching True Detective, I'm working on this. https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/common-roots-coffee-cup-double-coffee-stout/411832/ Dark roast coffee flavor, you don't get the 9%, the coffee flavors take over the main taste. Another one I like.

Had to have a work meeting with my wife tonight, so we met up in the home discussion spot: the hot tub. Of course there was a hot tub beer. https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/allagash-barrel-and-bean/182704/ When I saw it, I thought it was a barrel aged coffee stout. When I poured it, it was golden. So then I thought coffee blonde. Really good, l liked it. Then after, I looked it up and saw it was 10.1% and a Belgian triple. Then I could taste the Belgian flavors that I put off to the barrel. I'm not a huge Belgian fan, but this was pretty good. Thinking back, I should have known, coming from Allagash

Trying to keep things going and keep you updated on beer. Got a new one. 4 Hands Single Origin https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/4-hands-single-origin/691883/ Man, really good. Coffee, Vanilla, cacao, and Blueberry. The more it warms up, the more the blueberry comes out. Great blend of flavors. Pretty thick mouth feel, I love it. Almost a dessert beer. Worth the try if you can find it.

Started to do some cleaning and organizing in the garage. It's small so I have little space. But I just added a cabinet, turned the kegerator around so it was useable and have a place to work now. First time the window shelf has been clean since I put it in. Time to put in a keg and spend some time there

Well that sucks. It wouldn't download a picture from my phone. I'll have to try again tomorrow.

How's the PNW doing with these hard times? My place it shut down at the moment, but working on ideas to open up again. Hope every one else is surviving. At least I have the kegarator and beer fridge so don't have to worry there. Maybe a meet up for lunch or beer next month after some of this blows over. I asked the wife if we should do an X bbq here, she said no! We'll see how it plays out.

Well it's been awhile since I've been here. How are you doing? The shut down has hurt a lot of biz. Pit Stop is still going but can't really do meet ups. Don't hear much from the PNW crowd, but still want to meet people. Life has been throwing shit at me (divorce) and us for awhile. My latest beer is https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/crux-the-velvet-underpants/828388/ I'm not into the hazy NEIPA beers, I like the old school, Piney IPAs. But this one is really good. A little more bitter/piney than most, not so fruity.

Truck is up on stands so I don't get flat spots on the tires while sitting during the winter. What are you doing with your truck? If we get a week of nice weather, I might bring it out and do something. Go to Portland, Vancouver, Eugene, Roseburg, somewhere. I'm going nuts.

Never saw this thread but I gathered you really love beer and hot tubs, which is your right as an American. I can't disagree with either of those. I'm lucky to live in a bit of a craft beer town and use my resources. Right down the street I have Deviant Wolfe, Sanford brewing Co, Wops Hops and Inner Compass. A short drive takes me to Crooked Can and Hourglass Brewing which are nationally distributed.

Last time I was in Florida was the late 90's. Working on some photo shoots. Not many breweries around then. Don't even remember how many times. Was on South Beach for one of them. After photography, I got into brewing and brewed for about 15 years before opening a pub. What of those breweries do you really like and any favorite beers?

My ex wife's first night moved out. She hates basketball. It must be a good sign. She is gone and the Portland Trailblazers are on tv, so I get to watch. They are usually blacked out in the area so I can't watch them much. Brought out a barrel aged beer. https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/mother-earth-four-seasons-of-mother-earth-winter-2018/692499/ Said it had coffee and cinnamon but tasted like it had other spices. It started snowing lightly today, the big snow if suppose to be tomorrow. The X has been put up on stands for the winter in the garage. If I had a week of nice weather, I would take it out. I'm seeing a few pics of Xs in snow, glad I don't have to deal with that. At least not now. How are the rest of you doing with winter and shut downs?

Figured I'd hop on your thread since Seamless, ( another Fla boy is on here ), YOU DO YOU BRO!
Don't mean to get in your biz, but she's an ex for a reason... I know it'll be " muddy " for a little while, but you'll come out better on the back end!
Best of luck dude!
Cheers!

I check this site everyday but I'm out trucking for 6 weeks and home for 1. It's hard to talk about my X when I rarely see it. It's waiting for me under a tarp.

Glad to see at least some checking in once in awhile. Mejbro, we got a break in the rain today so I'll be out cutting the rose bushes and then, surprise, Portland and Golden State on tv tonight. So I'll cook a steak and watch the game. My dogs don't mind if I do. Madtrucker, I have a buddy who used to drive truck. He really didn't like it. Don't remember the details but he got out of it. I now have two X's but only really want to talk about one. Oh well.

I'm surprised. I love trucking. I'm making good money. I'm in Ontario, OR right now. It's nice out here today. Why 2 X's.
