Leaning towards these as I like the black housing and am not a fan of any of the led/halo/projector styles I have seen so far.

http://www.anzousa.com/toyota-tacoma-12-15-crystal-headlight-black.html

Does anyone have an opinion on this brand or can recommend another brand/set that look similar and are not generic ebay crap.

Also, noob question but can I upgrade the bulbs to led without messing with the wiring harness?

I'm partial to the '05 style, but they're dope!
Got'em from Autozone.com with a 20% discount and they came with bulbs.
Mine have worked well!

I'm partial to Depo brand, but I can't say I've heard anything negative about the Anzos

For the life of me, I can't find anything listed for a 2013 on google except oem replacements. Do they not have a website?

If you're looking for depo, no. Depo only has their corporate site because they're a Chinese company. You can look up their products through their distributors. They don't have black housings for the 2.5 Gen, only OE replacements.

Thanks! Should've specified my year in the original post.

Well, you were looking at 12-15 which is 2.5 Gen. And you said it again a few posts ago. It's not hard to read. LOL

Smoked lenses are the way to go. At this point I think the aftermarket stuff is pretty much all about the same quality and pretty good. The main difference in my set over OEM was the rubber gasket at top that seals to the hood. With the aftermarket set it didnt touch so I replaced the seal with a fat rubber strip.

You can swap to H4 LED bulbs without any additional wiring...at least on my 06. All I had to do was trim the rubber boot that seals the back of the bulb so the LED cooling fan can stick thru.

Funny things about the bulbs is I had a cheapo ebay set (lasfit $15 pair) that worked great and had a nice beam but the fans were loud and 1 burned out after 2 years. I got a nicer set (sealight $40 pair) the fan is silent but the beam was trash and looked like a castle lol....got a refund on those and switched back to the cheaps.

I disagree, in my area smoked lenses do nothing but get you pulled over. If you want the best quality, get a set of OEM and do the BHLM yourself. Otherwise the Anzo doesn't look like a terrible option.

Also with the LED bulb swap, those bulbs are not designed for a reflector housing, all they do is create glare. Led swapping into a projector is one thing, but for reflector bowls all you're doing is blinding oncoming traffic.

I did this on my 2012 with h4 led bulbs all off amazon

Like I said above, putting LED in reflector housings is a non-starter for me. Nothing but glare, just don't. If they're projector housings fine, but not reflector style.
