larojax, what were the symptoms on your bad throwout bearing. I'm having a heavy vibration sometimes when releasing the clutch during first or reverse. After I'm in gear, it seems to go away. Other times its fine... Looks like I'll be going to the dealer soon...:hmmmm2:- HolyCow

URD all the way! It screams like no other! It takes a little to install, but its worth it. The sound will turn heads. URD sells a waterproof cover for the Amsoil filter to keep it dry and clean....no worries!- HolyCow

RPM's and gas mileage
Never use 5th gear, its a waste, usually 2nd can take you to 35mph, and if theres nobody to impress, I'll just go ahead and shift inot 6th... I can gett 200 miles on half a tank on reg gas...:driver:- HolyCow

Toyota engines usually all tick, I've had 4, 6, and 8s, and they all ticked. If you are running low octane fuel (the cheap stuff) if will cause some ticking. You can try running your tank down to almost empty, and then getting bout 5 gal of premium to test it. We had the same tick in our... -

Paint chip issue: Lets all call!
Its on doors and the bed sides too. It is chipping from the front fender behind the tire, all the way back. On mine, its on every panel and molding on both sides. The front edge of my driver's side rear door is starting to rust from this. I've only 26,000 miles on it.- HolyCow

It's not the paint. I run 2 paint booths at the Georgetown Toyota plant, and the paint on the actual body is different from the paint on the plastic pieces; like the bumpers, door handles, mirrors, wheel well moldings, and ground effects.
