    S/C spark plugs

    Been away for a bit...my son drives the X now and it has been gumming up spark plugs. It will throw a random misfire code so checking the plugs, they are black. Using the IKH22. Should I go to a hotter plug to burn more fuel?

    Quiet muffler

    Looking to tone down the loudness...I have the urd's 3" cat back and went with the loud muffler. There was at one time an option to go with the "quiet" version, is there a magnaflow part number for the quiet version?

    Registration is due in December...you know my mods, I may need to locate a set of shorty's if anyone wants to get rid of a set or lend out a set? Will the stock intake and headers work with my s/c tune for the smog dyno (G)? Should I run 100 octane or stick to 91?

    Looking into a trailer to get into the BBQ competition hobby. How does the stock GVWR compare to a modded XR that can handle the extra weight? Not asking to double the weight but maybe a bit over.

    100 octane

    A station down the street from me has 100 ($6.75-gallon) and 110 @ $7.25 a gallon. Hmmmmm. :rock::rock::rock: The only problem is you never know how long it's been in their tanks. I don't know how fast they go through the 100 to keep it fresh. It's tempting to throw some 100 in.

    Got on it coming home, in the fast lane, next to the K-rail and I heard it. Bad gas maybe? May have to do a data log to see what's up. Any quick thoughts? I know...knock it off. :laugh:
