yes this is true but hitting the limiter kills ur momentum. the power is definantly there above 5500 thats what the cam gears were designed for. i had at 6400 for a long time but only used it for racing. it made a good difference while power shifting at the track.- CaliKnightRider

raising the rev limiter further ??
i ran it to 6400 when i had the x-1 so i could take it a lil over 6200 and power shift without hitting the limiter. i went from trapping 75mph in the 1/8th mile to 78mph in the 1/8th mile- CaliKnightRider

Cam gear install FAIL
i dont think u bent any valves. i was off by 2 teeth on both sides and i drove it kinda hard. i didnt have any engine damage so dont worry too much about it. if you need help fixing it, gadget will help you out. he helped with mine and i had mine up and running in no time. mine rumbled the same...- CaliKnightRider
