Anyone Used Pete's 53 Black Pearl Wax?
this stuff is supposed to be geared toward darker paints. i'm wondering how it looks on black sand pearl. anyone ever used it? i'm trying to get the deepest, blackest mirror shine out of my truck. which as you all know is hard to achieve with the metal flake in our paint :thumpdown:- music_man185

well, i just drove an hour round trip to buy some pre wax cleaner and sealer/glaze. i couldn't find either of them anywhere. i went to autozone, advanced auto, o'reilly's and walmart. where can i find this stuff?- music_man185

that looks very good! i wish our tacomas didn't have all of that metal flake in it. i think it keeps it from getting that deep mirror finish like that. the problem that i have is that i dont have a polisher. so everything i do is by hand. :thumpdown:- music_man185

what is your tint %
i'm thinking of going with ceramic tint. can you tell a difference? the original tacoma tint is kind of brownish looking. does the ceramic tint give it more a sleeker black look?- music_man185

Red X-Runner Seen @ Williams Grocery on Shawtown Road, NC 9/4
seen a red x-runner parked at williams grocery on shawtown road in glade valley, NC today. it looked stock other than a black headlight mod and possibly a painted toyota grill emblem. also had a URD sticker on the back drivers side glass. i seen him and waved. i was in my black double cab.- music_man185

my truck doesn't have DTRL right now. so i would have to do the DTRL mod to get them. actually, i dont even have a LS projector kit yet. lol. i was just wondering if it were possible and if anyone had done it and how difficult it would be. maybe some pics of some toggle switch setups.- music_man185

has anybody done the day time running light mod with a set of luminous solution projectors? i would like to set it up where the halos are the day time running lights and they light up when the DTRL are on. maybe wire it to a switch on the dash.- music_man185

no DA for me. :thumpdown: everything is done by hand. i assume it will still be as effective....just more time and energy consuming? edit: also, since the meguiars rubbing compound is considered a cleaner and scratch remover, is it too abrasive?- music_man185

Meguiars Rubbing Compound anybody used this stuff? it says its a cleaner and scratch remover. so could this one product take the place of a cleaner and scratch remover? i use swirl x to remove deep water spots. could this work as well while also working as a cleaner?- music_man185
