First road trip, sick mpg....
Just got back home from my first road trip in the truck and it was great. This milage is measured from about fresno back to LA (with going up and over the grapevine, mpg killer). Truck had 1 dirt bike in the back, me plus one passenger, and about 100lbs of clothing/weekend gear/tools...- torqueflight

Just bought an 08 SWB today
Just did my first road trip today, from SoCal to Yosmite. Loved it the whole way. I love this truck more day by day. I need to do a few things before I can really fall in love. The stock radio is beyond embarrassing!! No kind of aux and won't even play mp3 CDs WTF!!! No outside temp also erks...- torqueflight

Just bought an 08 SWB today
I found the rattle and fixe it today. It was because the bed was loose. I ran into a Mac tools truck and bought the 55 torx bit and tightened all the big silver torx bolts in the bed and that fixed the problem. Hope this helps.- torqueflight

Will do. Ill find it soon. Stuff like that drives me crazy. I think it might be the plastic protecters that are at the top of the beds sides. If I tap on them with my hand they make a lot of noise. Ill have to get someone to sit back there while I drive to figure out where its coming from...- torqueflight

Thanks. I cant wait to mod this truck. I cant believe how good it handles for a truck. Its very predictable too. I was already drifting some on ramps :). Gotta stay low key though. Quick question. Should I run 91 octane in the stock truck or is 87 fine? Thanks- torqueflight
