Sputter Problem
its at 76000 miles and i have no idea as to the last time they were changed..I guess thats gonna be on my to-do list for this week, although studying for my Tactical computer networking operations test is a major PITA!- kblozano

Sputter Problem
So a little while ago i posted on here about a p0430 and p0420 cat deficiency codes, i mentions a sputtering problem and the best solution i got was to gut the cats and to get an 02 sim. well thats done...the cats are clear and no more codes but the sputter problem remains...its only at idle...- kblozano

So it was on the truck when i installed it but didnt come with any disks I was hoping someone on here might have the same system and be able to send me a burnt copy of the east coast disk- kblozano

okay sounds good, im ocd-ing right now i believe you but just to clarify, it says they use the wideband in the front position..and cant retune from a falsely generated signal from the rear....so what do you mean "that type"? do you mean that the fronts can still recalibrate?- kblozano

that what i though...its just this note confuses me "Note: Be cautious of O2 sims that replace the rear O2 sensor with a falsely gererated signal. i use shell premium... no racegas here, well no sniffer where im currently at so maybe I can worry about this in the future and get the cheap fix now...but maybe not...would i just use the 2.25inch inlet/outlet cats? and if I gut the cats i need to take off the headers?- kblozano

well my only issue is that im not sure where ill be living soon and i dont want to end up in a state with the sniffer test and screw me, i could get away with that in CT but im not sure where else how do i gut the cats? just bang on em with a hammer? and if i do that wont it just clog the rear...- kblozano

So now that I have your attention I need your help! I did a search on this before I posted and there was a similar topic but the situations are different So occasionally at stop lights when the truck is just idling it will sputter, and it will do so every few seconds but as soon as i take off...- kblozano
