    My ecu is an e40 it's not the most common because it is from an 05 ls2. I use hp tuners, it wasn't cheap but seems to be all I need. I'm not sure that you would have any issues with DBW runaway as long as you use the factory wiring.

    Guessing that you have lowering blocks? Track bars could be binding up in the front shackles but make sure they are adjusted as best as you can. What is leading you to believe you have spring wrap? Do you race? The blocks definitely do not help. And I don't think x runner leafs would help...

    I performed a little weight reduction on the x last week. -spare tire -58.8lbs -jack/wrenches -5.2lbs -rear floor mats and rear seat belts -7.2lbs -a/c compressor (ls2 not 1gr) -18lbs She weighed in at 3600lbs with 1/4 tank of gas so 3790 with me in it.

    Honestly your best/cheapest option is to pick up a 5.3 and put a turbo kit on it. If you do some searching you can find a 5.3 from a Chevy Silverado for probably less than 500$ And with some fabricating skills and a little welding you can push 800-1000hp very easy and probably for under 5000$...
