summit racing traction bar
I couldn't get them to sit straight due to the taper of the flange. I wound up stripping on of the nuts on the u-bolt. Now I gotta rig something else up. If the dang brackets were about 3/4" taller it would clear. I finally took them off. If they don't sit flush with the underside of the leaf...- tacoturbo

Well, I got my traction bars in today and they don't fit. Dang it! From looking at the images posted it looks as if the lower shock perch on my truck is different. Mine has the same outboard shock mount but the mounting plate the bolts to the underside of the leaf springs has a downward curved...- tacoturbo

Correct me i'm wrong. It looks like if there is any type of spacer block to lower the rear the traction bars won't fit. If you look at the u-bolts that secure the bar to the leaf spring it looks long enough. But if there is a 1" or 2" block the bar barckets that contacts the leafs underside may...- tacoturbo

What the he!$!!! Thats no way to treat an X-Runner. She should be shot, strung, quartered and slapped for doing that. Man, you wanna sling mud go buy a 4X4. What a waste. On the other hand it ain't my truck so....:thumpdown:- tacoturbo

I've been running the C2C kit for about 8 months now. I hated that knockkneed look of neg. camber. I cut the spacers to give a 1" front drop. Since the spacer sleeves are hardened I had a machine shop cut one section to a 1" length and the other to a hair less that 3/4". You lose alittle...- tacoturbo

Engine Management and Turbo Questions
The TRD S/C will be released in 2 to 3 weeks. My parts dept. will be getting the part numbers soon from the distributor. Yeah,yeah. I know all you nay sayers say it's too late or it'll never happen. clutch squeak is getting fixed
Yeah, thats "if" they can take you in immediately a s a walk-in customer. On some trucks you don't even need any tools. Just reach under the dash, turn the shaft and your done. Steve- tacoturbo

I agree. But if theres a remedy that you can do that takes all of 1 minute to do without letting someone you may not trust work on your ride than I would try the "tacoturbo" fix. Just kidding about the "tacoturbo" part. See asiantaco's thread on this. Worked for alot of fellow XR owners...- tacoturbo

Yes, it can be turned by hand. Just position it when it feels centered. Creak should go bye-bye.:biggrin:- tacoturbo
