Resonators or: How I Learned to Stop Rasping and Love the Spec-U.
For those of you who have done this (besides fishsticks), did you locate your resonator in front of or behind the transmission crossmember? I see on fishstick's truck (he's a non-x lifted truck I believe), he had plenty of clearance for his resonators to live directly above the tranny...- Tom2769

URD Spec-U Exhaust
XRKid, thanks for stepping up and figuring out a fix for this issue. I've temporarily swapped back to my old exhaust until a fix was found - just couldn't take the buzzing anymore. Fish, post up your results when you get them burned in...- Tom2769

Okay, when I was under the truck a while ago, I snapped this pic. Does this spacer indicate my truck came with a short shift kit? If so, can anyone ID which brand from the picture? Powder coated valve covers
Powdercoat is the way to go! I painted mine - couldn't afford the downtime for powdercoating when I had my covers off...wish I had. Threadjack!: where are all you guys on the facebook? ebay projector headlights
Those look nice, and I have no experience with them, but I have not read anything positive about any of the other ebay projectors out there. I'm planning on doing a retrofit sometime in the next year. Not cheap, but should last for the long haul.- Tom2769

Agreed, this exhaust is great, but that buzzing noise just kills the joy of putting your foot in the accelerator - I've started driving like an old man just to avoid it. I've got an email out to Gadget - waiting on a response. I'll keep you updated...- Tom2769

X-runner kid, check this out, I think I may be making headway on this Spec-U buzzing/vibration. My spec-u is making the same sounds yours is, here's a video of my noise (break out the headphones or turn the volume way up, you'll hear the fart-can sound under acceleration)...- Tom2769
