Bluetooth help

I have an Alpine CDA-9886 and i just hooked up the KCE-300bt Bluetooth to it. I cant get it to connect to my phone.:banghead: My phone is finding the signal from the bluetooth, but i cant figure out how to get it to connect through the deck. Any help would be greatly apreciated.

Usually you have to put both sides of bluetooth into a search mode and then they'll connect to each other. At least that's what I understand from having to setup my wife's phone with her headset. I honestly don't know too much beyond that for bluetooth. I'd check the manual for the KCE and see what it says.
