catch cans don't work.

Well I'm arguing with a guy about catch cans. Lol.

He says they don't work and I said they do.. go figure

I don't know much but. Is this true because i know I'm stupid but huh?


"It "catches" the oil, because there is still a positive pressure, it's still going to suck up all the disgusting mist that is being produced. Hence the "band aid" fix to the gaping wound. It has a purpose, yes, it does not fully stop the issue from continuing though.

Ideally you want a negative pressure in the case. Don't believe me? Look into it, reversing the pressure will stop the issue right in it's tracks."

That's what I do but he's talking over my knowledge level about venting the exhaust into the valve cover for negative pressure to stop the vent or something. Idk lol
