If you could get an actual TSB number that would be awesome. There has been talk about a TSB for some time, but no actual documentation from Toyota can be found. It seems toyota is aware of the problem and gave the dealerships the ok to swap out parts, some guys are getting taken care of and some guys are getting the shaft.
Anything you can give us, like a TSB number, or what it states on your work order from toyota that would be great.

I only see that as a difficulty in clutch engagement, mine slips a bit in first and is a squeaky to bearing.....will this bulletin cover?

It only covers if u put it in gear and the truck goes nowhere:thumpdown: this is for clutch disc failure.

Just had my TOB replaced under extended warranty - had 38k miles about a month ago. Tech said it looked rusted. Still had to pay the deductible but at least the whinning has stopped.
