So today I took apart the stock headunit to see if I could figure out how to change those lights. Well, it's possible, but WAY more complicated than the dash light color change. I'm not going to do it because I figure it'd be easier to just get a new deck. If anyone really, really, REALLY wants to change the color of the stock head unit just let me know and I'll do the write-up. I don't really want to do the write-up unless someone with balls is really going to do it.

if you do not embrace Surface Mount Technology you will be left behind...

I happen to have my stock stereo face plate hacked up right now, for something other than led changing, either way it doesn't take balls, only a steady hand!

hahaha! well, I have no problem with SMD LED's. I did the write-up on the dashlight change. all I'm really saying is that I'm not going to do it because I eventually want to get a new deck that at least plays mp3/wma. So for me it wouldn't really matter.
