DTRL on with headlights/Alternating Signal Mod ?

I have an 09 XR with DTRL which i replaced the yellow bulbs with super white LEDs.

This is what i want to do...

keep my DTRL on when i have my headlights on.... and not have them blink... Instead...Have my side makers blink when i activate the turn signal.:hmmmm2:
Can any one help me with this mod?

I'm sure it can be done, but will require quite a bit of splicing / dicing of wires.

BUT ... I'm not sure that's a good idea. The side markers aren't visible to the front, especially in daylight. So if you're stopped at an intersection to make a turn, nobody in opposing traffic in front of you will see your blinkers, therefore they won't know your intent and may unintentionally cut you off.

IMO, keep the stock blinkers as blinkers.

yeah i say that one...but i don't want them to blink..i want the side haz light to blink...any ideas ?

never really thought about that... but i guess you right:hmmmm2:
