Anyone add painted eyelids and then have to heat the headlight up down the road to open it up? Did it melt or ruin the eyelid or the paint on it?

How do y'all apply the eyelid to the headlight? Double stick tape, silicon?

That 3m double sided tape is serious. I had my hid ballasts mounted to my frame with 3m tape. When I went to remove them it actually started pulling the ballasts apart before the tape let loose.

Ive had it done both ways the thing about the tape is if you ever do need to take it off you can but with silicone it would be a bitch (at least with the stuff I used)

Cool; thanks for the info... Looks like 3m around the edges will do the trick
