Ok so my front passenger side factory speakers crapped out on me and im pretty sure that the rear drivers side speakers are on their way out also. I dont want to spend 200-300 for one pair of speakers so what about something like these?

Also, cant I replace the factory 6x9's with those also? I have to buy two sets of speakers and want to keep it around 300-350 max for both sets. Thanks.

JL's are great... Personally my favorite.

As for replacing the 6x9's with those, I wouldn't do it. You're going to have problems lining up the mounting holes and you could damage the speakers with the open ends that will be left on the sides. Speakers need that air compression behind them to work at their potential. You'd be much better off grabbing a pair of 6x9s.

JL are definently a good choice but as Tre said they're not going to sound right if you put those in there. Your best bet is to replace with the correct sizes, if your wanting to save money then sony makes some decent speakers and there not retarded expensive. Just a thought

The front door speakers from the factory are 6.5 inch right? Shouldn't need adapters should I?

I would make adapters and use the 6.5 components up front and 6.5 rear for fill in

yes, spend the coin....... im going to get shallow mount 6.5 subs for the rear doors in the factory location and a set of components in the front with one 4 channel amp with a low pass x-over... im not going for a banging loud system (my ears are done with those) im going for a clean sounding system with some thump... just an idea.... i lack the subs which I found on ebay......

    focal...... fooooooe shoooowwwwwww

For that much get something good like Diamond Audio, Alpine, Focal, Memphis.

Personally I don't think JL is really that good from what I have heard. It's just a name like Kicker... which isn't good.
