Fog light button light?

    My backlighting to the fog light buttion stopped working. Is there a separate fuse for this? How to change the bulb?

    That button is supposed to be backlit? Mine hasn't been since the day I bought the truck lol

    I've never had mine out I don't think they are backlit mines never worked its supposted to

    if its supposed to* lol

    Yea mine went out a couple years ago too

    You can reach up behind the dash and push the blanks out. I'm guessing the switches are the same. Pop it out and have a look.

    Mine worked up untill about a month ago.
    So I should be able to reach up behind there and push the switches out with out haveing to take any thing else off? Seems far to reach.

    You'll probably have to take the knee panel out. If I remember right there's 2 10mm bolts at the bottom corners and then it pops off

    You maybe able to pop it out with just removing the coin tray otherwise yeah you gonna have to remove the lower panel.
    it is a a little twist in type bulb that you probably have to get from toyota. Like stated avove just push the switch from the inside and it will just pop out

    Mine has never been lit either. Gonna have to pop it out and see if there is actually a bulb there. I bought the truck new so I dunno :hmmmm2:

    The funny thing is I was just looking at that button the other day going, that's kinda dumb that thing isn't backlit. I guess I'll have to pop it out and see if it is or not lol

    I have a 06 tacoma and 12 xr and they are both backlit.

    They are all backlit. The bulbs are tiny and toyota charges an arm and a leg for them. As mine blow, I rel=place them with LEDs I fit to the bulb harness.
