I just don't get it... :hmmmm2: I don't know if everybody knows about the Xrunner I get a lot of hate from other truck/Toyota owners(fan boys). They always say I ruined it by dropping it, looks rice, then others say I should just buy a car. My reply is Toyota themselves built this truck for handling, it's a sport truck which is like a sports car but still can haul things in which I still do, and I think it looks great (aggressive looking). So I don't know if people just don't know what a xrunner is or they just hate dropped trucks. :dontknow: As for me even if someone's build may not to be to my liking I don't hate on it :argh: Is it just me or do you guys get some of the same reaction?
People in general hate lowered trucks. That's why I loved having one so much lol. Don't try to justify yourself to people that are gonna hate. Just tell em to eat shit and have a nice day
I think it's just that people hate on any vehicle that's out of the norm. I get the same thing in my XRunner or in my Xtreme. I got the same in my old '87 S-10 with a 6" drop. I got the same in my dropped Caprice wagon. Do you. Brush ya shoulders off.
Yeah the xrunner is a unique truck. I like lifted or dropped. You know what's funny though, guys that do lift their trucks has those flashy wheels and they never see dirt. If anything they'll just ride on sand, what's the point in that :hmmmm2: it's pretty much a street lifted truck that has hard time finding a place to park in town and too high to fit in garages lol. But you don't see much people hating on those. But yea I'm not a hater I don't know why others gotta hate (shake my head):dontknow: Us xrunner guys gotta represent hard :blurock:
some ppl just like to hate let them be like you said the xrunner is a diff kind of truck which still has the capabilities to tow (not as much as other trucks but still can tow and function with it looking badass) lowered trucks and mini trucking have been around for a long time. When i was in middle school i love reading about mini trucking from s10, mighty max, b5000 etc. theres more love for the truck than haters. best of luck !
We call those Bro-Dozers here. There are thousands of them, many talking about the 3 inches of muddy water they drove through when "off roading". Those of us with actual capable wheelers snicker a bit. I got more than a few sideways glances last Saturday when I dyno'd at a diesel performance shop. TONS of Bro-Dozers there. Funny how the eyes got wide when a V6 put down 401 lbft of torque. :top: I'm a lifted Taco and I'm here. because why not? Shit, I used to be a Chevy guy...
Bro-Dozers. Yes lol.. I've never gotten any hate in person. Usually see it online on "enthusiast" pages though.
my lowered truck has been offroad more than most lifted trucks, and if they start the hate, I remind them of it...
sup man, you must be talking about attitudes on internet / forums / social media right? cause i dont really see that kinda shit down here (808).... i dont mean to stereotype and therefore i wont, but that seems to be the attitude i get from some areas of mainland, but overall not here in hawaii..... seems like most truck guys here tend to like their shit slammed or lifted depending on what it is, but so long as it aint stock its good to go lol.... idk.. jus saying
