For me (and it seems for most people), I was going for that Mercedez/Beamer blue light look so I did 10000K. 4100 doesn't look any different than stock so it's just a waste of money.

aren't the mercedez/beamer in the 4500 to 6000k range?

Mmmm not quite, their at least 6000k if not 8000k. But their in a projector housing so it looks different than a regular halogen housing.
