I swear I saw a thread here that covers relocating components to accommodate the gen 1 intake on a supercharged truck but can't find it. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?
What year truck do you have? Do you have the smog pump on yours? What is on there now? Stock air box? Look on Tacoma World too. Hopefully somebody on here who is smarter than me will chime in. You could download instructions for something similar like an afe. They have instructions on their website. It wouldn't be exact but close enough.
Thank you, I'll take a look. I have a 2013, no idea what a smog pump is (I live in Hawaii), motor is stock besides the s/c.
Here's mine. It wasn't that hard. There were a few bolts to the fender. Relocate the maf sensor, that's it in the middle of the tube. I had to fiddle with it to get the filter in. You will have to relocate the smog pump because it's in the way. It's a bracket I think. Not a lot of wrenching.
Here's a modded version for a 2012+. The SC doesn't change anything. I did the volant intake scoop mod on mine as well. http://www.xr-underground.com/threads/write-up-2012-trd-cai.56837/#post-970043
