Well many of you know that I sold the X-runner 3 months ago. I then bought an 03 Sonic Blue lightning with 23K miles that sat in a garage for the last 4 years up in NC. I flew up to buy the truck and drove it back 600 miles. It has been a love ever since. I liked the x-runner, but I just love this truck and was so proud of it. Here is what it looks like now...
Well, I was T-boned today by a lady running a red light yesteray. 2 weeks ago I was rear ended while sitting at a light. Today when I was t-boned a cop actually caught the whole thing on his dash cam. She was ticketed. Now my Beautiful 03 Sonic Blue with 23K miles is trashed. Hell it still has a stock tune and pulley. Only mods are a ported blower, intake and plugs. Has 99-01 Chromies. I am ok luckily but might be sore tomorrow. The lady had the nerve to get out and say "why did you pull out so fast" The light turned green and 1 other car had already went as well as a cop from the other direction who also had the the same green light as I did. She could care less if I was ok or not. She then told the cop that I ran the light and she had a green. The cop then pretty much blew up on her because he had the SAME green light I had. It was ridiculous. I will probably end up suing due to the circumstances. She is still denying fault even though she gave a recorded statement that she say the Video of herself running a red light and then plowing into me. Which was recorded by the officer who witnessed the whole thing.
The truck is pretty messed up. Whole cab and bed shifted (Not one single body piece on the truck lines up), Cab is bent underneath causing both the seats and frames to be all bent up, both driver side fenders are messed up, Dash is cracked from the door hitting it and my new audio that I just finished installing no longer works. There is more damage from the cab and bed hitting other things since it moving also made the bumper and both front fenders as well as the bed shift.
