Oem steering wheel parts

Can you buy the coverthat goes over the airbag seperately? Or do I have to buy the whole steering wheel? Parts numbers would be appreciated

The airbag module in the steering wheel is an assembly, there is no seperate cover or anything. When the airbag deploys, the plastic breaks open and the whole assembly has to be replaced.

^^Ditto it is a whole assembly i would know from working at a dealer. They are about $800 i beleive i could be wrong though.

How did the cover break?

I would not mess with putting a different type of cover on there. Messing with it at all is a big safety hazard and a different cover would be an obstruction.

My elbow went through it. Luckily didnt deploy

I wouldnt cover it either its a safety issue with covering it.
