I have no idea what it takes to plan a large meet, but I can tell you with less than 4 months to plan there is not enough time..

this is some of the stuff when the planning for tex-fest would go down
-hotel- finding a group rate to lower costs
-activities for the entire day
-food plans large enough to hold people and cars
-stops (drag strip, tuner shops, ext)
-and most important activities all ages can take part in. not everyone is 21 and not everyone can not leave there kids at home..

like I said I have no idea how much work this is, but for the people that take charge and plan it out this is what they did for us and I know they spend days if not weeks planning in there extra time. and I give out my BIGGEST THANKS to the people who do!!

these things are not cheap when you take in account for food, gas, and stay. if you can swing it get it do it:top:. but four month till D-day is kind of where people start planning vacation time, reservations in hotels and all that junk.. im sure this you wind up being a local and surrounding area thing at this point.
