im finally hittin the 1/4 mile this week at raceway park in englishtown nj...mmmaybe tonight. but def Friday if not.

just wanted to see if any tri state guys are down for some runs and to chill.

Really wish I had the money to do this, have fun! I'd be interested to see what I'd run now that my Invos are practically slicks from less then 2 yrs and about 12,000 miles on the truck. Never buying these again:thumbdown:

Eh, if it was a little closer maybe. Just dumped some $ on a MK1 kit so kinda on a budget right now.

not too proud but best run was a 13.57 with a 2.08 60' and 105.26 mph. i need to learn how to launch better

That trap is pretty damn sweet :top: From the looks of those numbers you need a driver mod and you'll be seeing some really low numbers.

my truck definitely needs a driver mod. that 13.5 came from a launch at 2k. i was definitely under shooting at first...i didnt wanna just spin tires. i also launched from 2500 and 3k but didnt feather in the gas right so they spun too much.

i started my runs at 730 so the sun was setting and it wasnt too bad but the track temp was still around 85 and humid as hell.
i got in 5 runs. as fast as you could line up was as many runs as you could get. some guys had 7 runs in. there couldnt have been more than 25 cars there

wow! I usually avoid E-town because your lucky to get 2 runs in, sounds like you guys were hot lapping it lol.

Naw I dont have the X anymore (I got a 2011 5.0 Rustang).

We run our bikes & cars up at Lebanon valley dragway.

Its kind of a haul up the thruway (2-3 hours hauling ass from the Nyack area), but its not as crowded as E-Town most of the time.
