Well my Philips DL50 finally came in! These bulbs were discontinued a while back, so finding them is pretty hard. These are "true" 50w d2s burners, not rebased or knock off's. Genuine Philips OEM quality.
Anyway, heres the setup that they're in.

These are definitely brighter and whiter then my 85122+ bulbs. The camera doesn't quote portray it accurately because of the auto white balance in the camera. (More white seems less bright) Another difference I noticed is that the warm up time takes a while too, not like it makes a difference. Also the base of the bulb was missing one of the notches for it to sit properly in the projector. Again, another minor thing. A little dremel work solved that problem.
Was it worth the $300 price tag? For me yes. But then again, I'm a die hard HID nut.
