:dontknow: ok, so this may seem like a dumb question, but i baby my cars and have never hit the rev limiter before.......Some punk tried to fly by me at a stop light in his 92 civic hatch, so i stomped on it before he could get to me, only thing is i hit the rev liniter in 2nd gear, that doesnt hurt the engine at all does it??

nah its there for that reason. dont worry about it. try to stay off it, but you are not going to damage anything with an unintential bump every so often.

Lots of frackheads get attention that way. Loud exhaust and rev to the limiter on cars, bikes etc.
