Scangauge II trans temp

Does anyone know if our trucks will read trans temp on the SGII? I found an xgauge on their website but it doesn't work. Has anyone tried this?

I don't believe that we have any type of temp sensor on our transmissions, but I could be wrong.

No temp sensor in the manuals. The fluid temp doesn't get as hot as an auto so no need to monitor it.

Not for maunual trans, but auto trans you can. I can read it on my scanguage II. Search on Tacoma world for the proper xguage code, sorry don't have a link for you.

Well that sucks, I wish I could be able to see what my trans was running at just for piece of mind.

You can always add a sender and gauge if you want.

Yeah, I know but I was just hoping I could get off easy and just plug in the SGII, then it would be done and over with.
